Test area 1 - walkway between Miroslav Krleza St and Mijo Simek St
Test area 2 - Miroslav Krleza St
On two test areas, LED electronica has installed it’s PrecisionLux 2 luminaire which has provided a wide range of applications with its modularity, always delivering high quality, efficiency and reliability, and a solution with a combination of multiple lenses on the same luminaire, where the lens concept itself was created by mathematical models within the company, which was later confirmed by laboratory and field measurements. Such a solution enables the installation of a smaller number of luminaires for the same surface coverage while retaining average illumination and uniformity. In addition, PrecisionLux 2 luminaires on a larger test field are equipped with a standard NEMA socket, enabling future mounting of various types of sensors and controllers of our own or third-party production, thus creating a smart node within the public lighting network.

Test area 8 - roundabout near gymnasium Fran Galovic
Test area 9 - Dr. Zeljko Selinger St
LED lamps from the E+ DOVE product line are installed in test area 8. As the test area 8 is roundabouts, we used E+DOVE, B solution, which is suitable for higher capacity road, roundabouts, crossroads and the rest. Roundabouts are in careful zone, which is condition to set the lamp with 100% intensity of the light output.
Technical standards for area 8:
In test area 9, highly effective LED luminaires from batch of production E+DOVE are installed. As the test area 9 is M4 (lower traffic street), it is used S model of E+DOVE luminaire suitable for alleys, walkways, squares and the like. Those LED lamps work in constant all-night mode with reduced intensity which is managed in advance.
Technical standards for area 9:
In the test period, there is the possibility of installing its own LLCS (LED LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM) system that is developed in own laboratory. System possibilities include controlling, detecting and reporting any public lighting malfunction and automatic reporting to approval person (e.g. public lighting maintainer).

The IoT LoRaWAN network, implemented by Micro-Link, covers the Living Lab area as well as the Koprivnica urban area.
The implemented LoRaWAN network is primarily intended to demonstrate public lighting solutions (smart lighting) within the Living Lab test zones. Public lighting management is achieved by transferring control and control data between luminaires and a central location.
LoRaWAN network technical standards:
LoRaWAN is a wireless technology for long distance communication. It enables connection of battery-powered IoT devices and allows low-powered devices to communicate with Internet-connected applications over long range wireless connections.
The advantages of a LoRaWAN are:
It is planned to use the existing IoT infrastructure (implemented LoRaWAN city network) to test other smart city services in the form of various pilot projects of innovative solutions. In the future, the LoRaWAN IoT network can be used for all urban essential services and resource management. The same communication infrastructure can be used for smart parking, smart waste management, smart meter reading (remote sensing of energy products and water), monitoring of the noise level and air quality, in addition to smart city lighting.

Citizens of Koprivnica will ensure in possibility of different solutions of public lighting, through open access and active participation. Their feedback and expression of needs will be of key importance for project partners, research and public institutions with the purpose to develop a use extension prototype. For innovative solutions in the field of mobility, ecology and waste management, experiences are collected through visual perception of new outdoor lighting must be chosen as the reference point.
We gathered high-level global and local technology companies and gave them the possibility to test innovative outdoor lighting solutions. LED outdoor lighting gives sub-options that will be available soon in Living Lab which besides energy savings include public charging stations for electric vehicles and bicycles, 5G and energy-saving traffic.
Open and fast-learning European ecosystems put the Living Lab concept at the centre of innovative cities efforts for efficient energy management. The available Living Lab Koprivnica infrastructure and synergy between stakeholders will affect the putting in place of smart city solutions and improvement of citizen life quality.
Hereby we invite all interested developers and academic institutions to take the opportunity of Living Lab Koprivnica. Open testing zones are suitable for individual or group research, where researches, citizens and technology companies can participated actively.
We organize expert visits in the Lighting Living Lab area.
